Slot Racing
- UK HO Drag Proxy Series 2021-22 – Race #1 May 2021 After two extremely enjoyable series and ten monthly events, the HO Drag Proxy shifts to a bi-monthly schedule featuring six events over twelve months – four midweek and two ‘UK nationals’ weekend events. Check out all the dates, details regulations and formats, and get your entries in.
- World Championship Slot Car Proxy 2021 Race #1 is complete and we have a winner! Very tight overall ….which really shows how competitive this series will be, and with the wide variety of tracks it will be a very interesting championship.
- Brighton to John O’Groats Road Race Results and reports have been coming in thick and fast from the road stages at Robin Hood Way & Belvoir Pass in the Nottingham rounds of the proxy event, and next, the cars move swiftly on to Mountain View Garage in Wrexham for the following rounds on May 15th & 16th.
Slot Cars
- Slot.it Alfa Romeo 33/3 – “Pocono 2011” New from Slot.it, a 1969 Tipo 33, which was updated to 1971 specs by Autodelta, and appeared at the 2011 ‘Le Belle Machine d’Italia’ event that took place in Pocono, Pensylvannia.
- Triumph TR7 Refurbs Picked out as thread of the week, 964rh finally made his old Scalextric Triumph TR7 trackworthy with new chassis, axles, wheels, motor and wiring. This set everybody off on a quest to improve their own TR7s, and even led to talk of a proxy race. Watch out for further developments.
- Carrera 1/32 Plymouth Superbird Another new release from Carrera is the Carrera Plymouth Superbird No.2, driven by Norm Nelson, with its aerodynamic, elongated rear wing and streamlined front for the US stock car racing series.
- SlotRacer Facebook Group Tamoru has shared his fantastic “INO KEROYON SPECIAL”, a modified Tamiya Lotus 30, with a Plafit chassis. The car was driven by Yoshimitsu Ino in the Japanese Grand Prix of 1968.
- Maserati GT3 The second livery of the Slot.it Maserati GT3 is coming later this year. SICA43b-n.38, 1st at Vallelunga 2012
- NSR Liveries NSR have announced new race versions of the Mercedes-AMG GT3 and classic Ford P68 cars in fantasy Martini Racing liveries.
- Avant Slot Ferrari 308 GTB Alberto Ranz (CEO of Avant Slot) has posted 3D CAD renderings of the Ferrari 308 GTB. He is expecting the first injection tests in two weeks and will begin production in September. Andy is still in a state of “wow!”
