Coming Soon

- Fly Renault 5 GT Turbo Rafael Barrios has posted photos of the forthcoming Renault 5 GT Turbo. The much anticipated new models from Fly are shown in a Platja D’Aro rally livery, and a ‘Supercinco’ road scheme.

- Fly Porsche 908/3 Another new release from Fly is this Porsche 908/3, which models one of two John Wyer entries in the 1971 Targa Florio. Unfortunately, Brian Redman crashed the car on the first lap, it caught fire and burnt out completely, with Redman suffering bad burns to the face and neck.

- Thunderslot McLaren M6B Slot Cars Passion have posted photos of two new liveries for the Thunderslot McLaren M6B. The Can-Am cars recreated are Dick Brown’s drive from Bridgehampton 1968, and the car driven by Jerry Titus at Las Vegas in 1968.
Scratch Building

- Flying Fiona 1929 FIAT There have been debates over the years over what exactly constitutes a scratch build. No such questions arise with Tibbs’ build of Flying Fiona, a 1929 FIAT. When you recreate a period chassis in brass, build your own leaf springs, make a steering mechanism, and mill your own small scale drum brakes, then not only is it undoubtedly a scratch build, but it is workmanship, and craftsmanship of a very high order.
