Jeep CJ-5

The Jeep was first seen in the 1985 Exin Scalextric Catalogue. It is an open-topped vehicle with optional black roof. The roof was not always supplied in sets but were supplied with cars bought separately.

The Jeeps have no “glass” in their windscreens nor side window frames so the windscreen surround is not well supported and can break easily. For this reason, it is wise to fit the roof when running these cars but there is little that can be done to protect the mirrors. Jeeps were fitted with the front winch and tow bar.
