Exin Scalextric STS - Track

Introduction

STS track was a wonderfully varied range, with all sorts of obstacles and special pieces which were designed to give a flavour of the Paris-Dakar rally and all the challenges that involves.

The track itself is 130mm wide, with 65mm lane widths, making it wider than Carrera Go!!! and Artin, but still within the general range of a 1/43 track system.

Although it was a fairly short lived system, the variety of track seems way more impressive than other systems of the same scale, and the ambition of the design was admirable.

It's a real shame that it didn't travel far outside of Spain, as it would probably have been very popular. Check out the whole range below.
