Excellent, they're gone!

Yep I'm hoping the ones from the sideways lambo fit as they look great. Failing that I've some scale auto gt3 inserts that look ok.

Tuning the other Camaro as Plan A weighs 107 grams, so it’s on the shelf it will not go well on 20k.  Plan B needs to shed a few more grams as it’s down to 87.4 from 91.4.  Few more items then back to testing.

This one arrived today in the mail and I’ve been pursuing this car for 4 years.  Work has already started so we will see if we end up with a class A or B car to run with the Camaro.

My class D car is coming together. Undergone some work after its mediocre performance at the Le Mans proxy. The rear tyres still need some love and I need to get some track time with it but  I like where it’s going

I had a quick look back at last year's results, 3rd in class and 4th fastest car overall
Could be one to watch  Thumbup

The car is now the same weight, with the weight redistributed, a light weight interior has been added, a wider track and a drop of one tooth on the gear to make up for the shorter tires. I will trim out the driver and passenger windows and section the remaining windows to cut more weight.

Some lovely looking cars. I haven't had much progress of late, but I do now have a chassis for the Mustang. Hopefully this week will see the builds finished to leave a bit of time for tuning.

My cars are pretty much ready to ship. Just need to put a few more miles on the Dodge as it is new.

Mercedes 250SL - Class B (Lowered slightly and rear axle mounting stiffened since last year)
Dodge NASCAR - Class D (New car, wheels and tyres trued and motor run in)

First shakedown of the mustang and AMG on Tuesday at Pendle. Mustang was lovely and smooth, it's much narrower than the fleet of Camaros in this class so I'm not sure how it will do on twisty tracks but I'm happy with it.

The scalextric AMG was a dogs dinner, slow, rattling around and generally awful. Strip it down today and try to figure out why, hopefully the it's not a dud motor as I don't have another. Maybe just too much grip, so will try narrower tyres and glaze the front wheels.
