I now have a 2nd car penciled in
That's 3 good lists Graham...I'm thinking a new thread would be a good idea as this one has 19 pages already which makes it very difficult to find info in it.

Yes this is only my exploratory thread of future ideas really. I will formally launch the proposed proxy for next year once the current one is underway. I always like to consider any feedback for a while before I go onto the next stage.

Changed the dimensional specifications for wheel diameters and rear axle wheel/tyre widths in "near" alignment with CSCRA standards for each era.

Tyre minimum diameters is a better way of doing things than 'within 1mm of each other front/rear'

"Back to the future" planning thread.
Updated "Classic Road Races Proxy" plan
[attachment=34251]
Also the question of an Autumn Proxy, I gave a lot of thought to running a Revoslot only Proxy in the UK, and although an attractive idea I just don't think there would be enough Revo Proxy enthusiasts here in the UK for it to work as a stand alone event. at least within the next year or so. But I have been wrong before so quite happy to eat my hat if proven otherwise, and will be quite happy to help anyone else contemplating this.
However whilst looking at the idea, I came up with another scenario which looks more inclusive.
So what I would propose is a choice between another Global GT Sports cars Proxy but with contemporary LMP cars of the same time period or alternatively a Trans Am Proxy, using the Revo cars for a Under 2.0 litre Event.
I have attached the two plans below.
Plenty of time to think about this, as I shall wait until we completed the current proxy first before canvassing opinion.

Classic Road Races Proxy
The only downside I see are the Classes aren't going to be fairly matched, 8mm wide tyres on a 57mm wide car is going to be no match for 12mm wide tyres on a 64mm wide car, so all those entering the Carrera event are only going to be competing for that award and won't really stand a chance in the A,B & C Class awards as we saw in the last Rally proxy where Andy's brass & wire chassis XK120 was the only car from the Monte Carlo event to feature in the 9 Class awards won.
How about 10mm tyres and 60mm wide car, they weren't all little sports cars in the Carrera Panamericana...Lincoln, Mercury, Buick, Studebaker, Oldsmobile, Cadillac...
------------------------------
Autumn Proxy 2025
I like both ideas, use one, save the other for 2026...
-------------------------------
Why have you decided to exclude metal chassis from these 2/3 Proxy proposals?

I assume that Mr Cadun is overseas?
If this goes ahead would it be worth doing a bulk order for bodies if sufficinent want one from the lists.?

Can’t quite see your point, as the Event 1 cars are only going to be competing against each other for that Event award, and Event 2 cars for that award etc. So there is no competition between the different Events for an overall award.
I will check the 57mm for the 50’s cars, as I do have some of the American Sedan Pan Am bodies.
For the Autumn proposal options there is a Standard metal chassis Event in each option, so no need to include that option in the other Events.
