Ok, the Harlequin Guys have moved aside the Le Mans props and set up a rather nice Extreme Slotting challenge track. It is based on a NInco layoit with 2 loops at each end, so a full lap is travelling both directions along the route.
All the cars had a dry run this morning, but that was without obstacles, tomorrow there will be a mini landslide in the vicinity  of the S-Bends, so perhaps that will make like abit more difficult

 Hi, after a slow start due to sorting out domestic issues, I am now underway

A difficult run for one of the Lancers, resulting in it  loosing the front panel    Hit those rocks too many times

   

So the car was retired on the last run.

I am saving the "best class" until tomorrow morning, and we will announce the competition winners later in the day

Think that means that Phil has won the class. Second for me, my best ever proxy result! One and a half laps between 1&2 over all the stages well done Phil!

Actually what is the best Extreme Slotting Vehicle for extreme environments, only one way to find out

So for the final challenge  I ran the 3 Class winners cars for 10 laps (and my own Stormrider and I-Pace) with the additional obstacles in place, against the clock for the fastest lap . I did not run Bernie's Panda as it just would not cope this gauntlet of obstacles 

   

The result was:
1st place - SCX Stormrider (13.05 secs)
2nd place - Mitoos I-Pace ( 13.13 secs)
3rd place - Ninco- Mike Scott's Nemesis (13.34 secs)
4th place - SCX - Paul Cooper's Touareg (14.05 secs)
5th place - Ninco- Phil Field's Mtsubishi (14.20 secs)
6th place - Avant - Jim Scott's Mitsubishi ( 14.82 secs)
