Ken....maybe you've thought of this, but you could glue flat styrene under and slightly inboard of the body on both sides.  Shape the styrene to look like '32 rails.  Love this car you've made!!

Looks like 32nd scale.  If it was 25th scale there are '32 chassis already in model kit form to steal from.
