Its listed as in stock at Pendle today, so I am expecting the pre-order invoice tomorrow  Sun

Arriving tomorrow  Sun

Made me think that at the rate Revoslot generate these cars, we could have a field of 4 or 5 different cars of this era within the next year.......that's given me food for thought

As long as Revos are an option rather than a requirement, we can't all afford to buy new cars.

Wavegreen Good Morning,
whilst I await the return of the cars from Round 3, I can announce that we have a revised schedule which I have posted on the leading page.

So Round 4 will now be at the Conington Park track on 2nd June, many thanks to Brian & Tel who will be our hosts.

It's a shame about the video from the last round.  It's amazing how you get used to watching videos of the racing and really miss it when recording goes wrong.

As the cars were returned to me at the end of last week, I have checked them over before dispatching them to Conington Park for Round 4.
I have notified the  entrants of my findings and action taken.
Where used I have applied a simple acrylic glue as a temporary fix to broken parts, which most likely will become dislodged again during the series if impacted.

Car Inspections
Makem
Mclaren GTR -Rear wing was detached - one wing strut had snapped the other strut had popped out the body location. I have glued the broken strut and push fit the other side into the body.
Ferrari 333SP - Rear wing and rear defuser was detached. I have glued these parts back onto the car.

Bangers Racing
BMW Z4 - rear wing was detached -glued back into place.

Oxo Cube
Sauber Merc - the rear wing was detached , obviously been glued on previously, and refitting appeared to be viable so it has been replaced.
Revoslot Mercedes CLK - rear wing was detached - it is a loose fitting into the body and most likely will come out again on transport, so I will leave it in spares bag.

Paint Horse One
Dodge Viper rear wing was detached but seems to pushfit reasonable securely.
Wing mirror has broken off, will leave in the spares bag.

Brumos RSR
Dodge Viper - rear wing detached, it is a loose push fit so will easily come out again. Leave wing in spares bag.

Team ALS
Revoslot Toyota GT-ONE, 3 of the 4 chassis securing nuts had came out, Mark was not familiar with these models so just taped the chassis together for the round 3.
I have replace the tape with the securing nuts, one was lost in the front so I have replaced this.

Demon Tweeks
Porsche Kremer - rear wing detached, there appears to be a collar missing which the wing is attached to. So unless this can be located the wing will remain in the spares bag.

BatManx
Jaguar XJR9 - rear wing detached, the wing strut on one side is no longer viable, so I have not attempted to repair this one.

Roadrunners
Lister Storm - the rear wing was detached, I have push fit the wing struts back into the body, they are made of rubber so not expecting them to remain in place for very long.

Ruscillo Racing
Porsche 997 - rear wing detached, glued back on.

The cars next destination is Conington Park near Kings Lynn, Round 4 is next Monday.

That's a lot of wings! Most of the cars in the Targa Florio should not have this problem!  Bigsmile

Some of these were bound to happen, and some had previous history. I dont hold hosts to having to repair them as like the last round there was not much time to attempt anything between receiving them and running them.

And I think some of it was due to excessive transporting between Depots by DHL, so I have my fingers crossed that the cars get to the next destination on time.

ANNOUNCEMENT
I am sorry to announce that the planned Round 4 at Conington Park on Monday will not now be possible. Unfortunately the box of cars did not get collected today by DHL and with their recent track record, it is unlikely they would arrive in time before the weekend.

So I will plan for the cars to go instead to Wye Valley for the planned Round on the weekend of the 14th/15th June.

That's a shame  Tappingfoot

By the time the other rounds have been done after delays etc. the Manx club will accommodate any future date, we don't have anything planned in the foreseeable future that may jeopardise our round.

DHL are merging with possibly the worst carrier IN THE WORLD - Evri!

What could possibly go wrong?
