SCOREBOARD

So here we are again with what hopefully will be a thrilling proxy to follow.
This will once again be our leading page with the SCOREBOARD once I have discussed the format with Jason.
And also I will put together the information supplied from the Registration forms regarding each car's technical spec.

The Entrants list

Entrant Cars Technical Information ( Scrutineer's Report and Tech spec)
.pdf Global GT Mod Std Scrutineers Report.pdf Size: 93.52 KB  Downloads: 32

.pdf Global GT Revoslot Scrutineers Report.pdf Size: 122.65 KB  Downloads: 53

.pdf Global GT- Procar Scrutineers Report.pdf Size: 196.01 KB  Downloads: 49

Key Date -Arrival Deadline - Friday 28th March
Cars must have been delivered by the deadline date, qualifying in order to determine the Groups running order will take place over the weekend 29th & 30th March.

The Race format
we will run the series this time as 8 planned Rounds with most of the clubs we used for the Goodwood Revival Proxy. In the event of a tie in one or more of the Construction Group classes (GT1, GT2 & LMP/GrC) I will analyse the "fastest lap data " from the Rounds to hopefully make a deciding judgement.
The cars will be run as 3 Construction Groups  in order of size (based on the registration details supplied):
Group 1 (Modified Standard cars) we have 9 cars entered.
Group 2 (Revoslot Cars) we have 11 cars entered.
Group 3 (Pro Cars) we have 18 cars entered.

For each Round, after running each group of cars the placings will be determined by the host for all the cars, and the 3 winning cars from the Classes GT1, GT2 and LMP/GRC displayed on the podium.

The points will be allocated to each construction Group separately based on the number of cars entered in each category (as listed above)
e.g for Group 1 the leading car will get 9 points, 2nd car 8 points etc (regardless of Class)
So that the Championship winning cars in each case of "Class within the Construction Group" will have the most points.

We will also have the "Spirit of the Proxy award " as judged by the hosting Clubs.
Cars selected for the award will again need to have been self decorated & had complied 100% with the rules.

Many thanks to all our generous sponsors and Graham for organising these events  Thumbup Thumbup

-----------------

Since entering these great proxies on SlotRacer we regularly see cars in our normal racing classes and Rally events that have been prepared to the rules and motor list Graham has evolved over the last few years, it's a formula that works well  Thumbup

Entrant Team photo shoot.
I will post the Entrants Team cars on arrival on this page.

RoadRunners
My own team, I am pinning all my hopes on my Revoslot entries.

I love the Lister Storm, hopefully it will run as well as the name suggests, and the Marcos is quite nimble. The Toyota ONE should give the two Ferrari 333's of Brumos & Makem some competition  Sun

Makem
Quick off the mark as usual, and first to arrive here is the Team from Makem.

Similarly we have the Revoslot Mclaren GTR and the Ferrari 333SP, but also a 3rd time lucky, welcome for the return of the Scalex body Dodge Viper, I have of course run it around my track and it sounds and feels superb. Could be a winner here  Yes

Oxo Cube
Also, as always an early arrival for Oxo Cube.

The Merc GTR & Toyota Supra Revoslots are superbly decorated, and I can tell that these Revos have been prepared well for action. Similarly the Modified standard Scalex body Merc Sauber C9 looks also very competitive.

Bangers Racing
A selection of small sports cars this time around.

Scaleauto based BMW Z4, a modified Procar Ferrari 355 and a front motor drive Marcos Modified Fly car (I think the first of this type car we ever had in our proxies to date)

BAracer
All of the non-Revo's variety, we have 3 great cars here from BAracer which from my eyes all looking very competitive  Thumbup
A Fly based Marcos with a very nice chassis set up, and well prepared. A return of the Slot it based Mclaren GTR F1, this time with sufficient ground clearance to pass scrutineering, should run well. Finally a slot it based Audi R8 LMP.

Equipe Trelawney
Perhaps a french connection there...
A new team entry from our friends down in the far South West of the country.
A powerful looking Fly based Panoz LMP with B&W chassis, a Slot it based Nissan R390 GT1, and a Fly standard-ish Joest Porsche LMP.
Welcome to their 1st proxy experience.

Mountain View
Always one of the top proxy team runners in the past, we have two superbly prepared cars.
We have a Ninco based Porsche 911GT1 and a Slot it Sauber Mercedes C9.

Brumos RSR
So the team is expecting great things with their "Revoslot" entries, all the eggs in the one basket so to speak.

Mike B
Hoping for better things this time around, this Slot it Porsche 911 GT1 Evo entry in the procar class should run well.

Team ALS
we have a Revoslot Toyota Supra, Toyota GT-ONE and a MR Slotman Ferrari 333 SP

Sam D
I have received a NSR based Corvete C5R from Sam, it will be interesting see how the car runs with the Long can 19K motor in.

ModSports
Kevan has provided us with a Corvette C5R based on a 3d chassis & predator 21K motor, and for the Modified standard class a Ninco based BMW V12 LMP

Demon Tweeks
Our 2nd Manx Club Team has provided a Black Arrow based Lamborghini Murcielago, and a Avant based Porsche Kremer.

BatManx
Finally out 3rd Manx Team supplied us with a Ninco based Mercedes CLK GTR Modified Std car and a Jaguar XJR9 based car with a slot it motor mount
(not sure what the body was from)

Scott Sports
Welcome back to Mike174 team, I received your Slot it Jaguar XJR9 and your Porsche 911 GT1.

Ruscillo Racing
we have 2 Procars from the team a NSR based Porsche 997 and a Slot it based Mazda 787B.

Green Star Racing
And just arrived from AdeC a Modfed Std Ninco based BMW V12 and a Slot it Porsche 956

Paint Horse One
After a long journey the Dodge Viper arrived just before qualifying.

REVOSLOT SPIRIT OF THE PROXY AWARD
As this was a Revoslot inspired proxy, I decided to only include the self decorated Revoslot cars in this competition.
There was a couple of cars which were not Revoslots and technically could have been selected, but both these cars looked like they had not been specially decorated for this event

So the chosen cars are
