More classes means more people will win something which is always a good thing.
I'd like to see a U 2L class which included non Revo cars...and allow slimline motors.

I think maybe a separation of 3 distinct Construction Events may do much the same thing.
Still early on with the current proxy series I know, but I have been encouraged to think that a "Standard Class" might work better. The racing is very much closer in general although you will always get a "Super Builder" In reality we are unlikely to get many Classic under 2.0L entries in total, so perhaps just accepting this and make it a Event for Revoslots only might encourage others who know they are just racing a group of similar based cars.
I am sure that the over 2.0l cars Event will be popular anyway, so make that an specific Event.
And keeping the Modern Event as a group of Controlled 3d chassis based Scalex, SCX, Ninco etc cars will be different for most entrants, which will make it more challenging and less predictable.

I like that idea a lot, resurrecting non-pro level cars, there's plenty of choice too.

Yes I think the “Global Touring cars Challenge” should be……well more of a challenge ?

The motor choice for this proxy would probably be the same as for the current GT Global Challenge proxy, except for the Modern Touring Car Event.

I think I have hatched out a Plan
The Revoslot Class Event is self explanatory, I had considered a more open Event for these under 2 litre cars but having seen where Slot it going with their Saloons it is unlikely we will see any cars of the same era from them this year, and I think Revoslot have this pretty well covered, perhaps we might see other Saloon cars of this type this year ??
So Event 2 is intended as a Controlled Class construction group with restrictions sufficient to enable modified standard home racing type cars to compete with the option of using a 3d chassis but perhaps not essential in getting a competitive car.
And Event 3 is referred to as an Open Class, I have restricted the ProCars a little to ensure we don't get too many "super fast" ProCars, and give the scratchbuild cars more of a chance.
And now I will add on some more of the associated General regulations and the motor list separated for each Event Class.
It will be intended to have a basic 1st, 2nd and 3rd Award raking for each Event based on this plan.

Just thinking aloud here... What's the reasoning behind limiting Event 1 to being a Revoslot only class and not allowing the likes of the Slot It 510? Surely they play reasonably well together? Even a well modified Scalextric Escort, Fly Alfa Giulia GTA/GTV or Spirit BMW 2002 could potentially keep pace.
