So the cars have arrived in Plymouth for the next Round
Round 6 Woodland Fort will be run on Thursday 9th May.
This will be the first of the two Sprint Races, where the club run the cars as they would on their normal club nights. Each car running on an inner and outer lane.

Just an idea, but is anyone from Woodland Fort going to be at the UK Slot Car Festival in Gaydon? If so there are a couple of Viking members who will be there all weekend. We could take the cars and cut out one of the courier trips.

Hi Ade, the idea has been discussed but it is not practical for the current host, due to personal circumstances as he is away now for the weekend and the cars are kept in his house.

Reading the comments on FB the DNF was a case of 'the wheels on the bus go round and round and sometimes disintegrate'

I was racing with my good friend Steve Ruscillo at our local club last night when the results started appearing, he was elated when his BMW was rated 2nd fastest

only to be frustrated when the news of the DNF for the Merc appeared

Well I have been informed that the rear plastic wheel fell off of Ruscillo Racings Merc CLK, so hopefully that can be glued back on for the next Round.
Brumos M1 I am not sure about, it does seem to have dropped off in performance over the last 2 rounds. Kevan found it had a gear mesh issue on the very first Round and tried to fix it, but perhaps it is related to that. I will ask AdeC to take a look at it before running in the next round.
