I think the Ferrari 458 of Brumos, is literally the “dark prancing horse” of the British GT Event. It was a replacement car for his NSR McLaren 720 which probably would have been the favourite if it had been permitted. On my track the replacement Ferrari ran even quicker, although I believe it was one of his last minute untested entries (which usually turn out to be very good)   Sun
Ade’s Porsche will take some beating though, these Scaleauto Porsche cars seem to be the favourite of the clubs at the moment, and with the Predator motor in Yes

That was one thing that came out loud and strong, the Scaleauto cars were an eye opener for sure, not a manufacturer we see on our track but one or two on the Rally stages which do very well.

The Predator motor you mention was a lovely surprise...we've taken a delivery of a dozen or so last week and a few of our club members snapped some of them up, even with shipping + custom duty they work out cheaper than an NSR Shark...Pendle, you need to stock these motors Thumbup

www.slotcarcorner.com sponsors my Son’s racing so we make every attempt to help them drive revenue.  I have tried to get Pendle and SSC together…. I believe it’s paperwork and taxes holding it up.  I will keep trying.

That Scaleauto Porsche is the bar of this proxy…..I’m only running a 20k so even on a small track there’s still an advantage.  And yes, the kit arrived and was disassembled, the chassis arrived the next day followed by the e-mail on the McLaren.  So yes, it was built, balanced, not tested and shipped the next day.

Seems to work well for you, I think sometimes we can overthink these car builds.
You mentioned your son racing, what series is he racing in this year ?
