If DPD are changing numbers (and possibly covering the delivery address) then the box should have a separate delivery address stuck on the side and changed for each host.

My pal, who works for DPD said the number will change for each different destination. Once there, ie "received", the number is dead and off the system. I asked him to take a look, anyway. I assume the label sent through from MIC will have the Burnley address and identification number, but I thought it had been agreed for it to straight to the North East?
The label the MIC sent last Friday to the DPD lost property office was supposedly the original ( as the copy I sent to you), so this destination or the one on the original order has never been delivered to.
And the receiving address is still Kevin at Burnley.

Yes I misread that, of course once delivered (which it hasn't as yet) then the tracking number becomes obsolete.

As we never received the DPD text message showing that the parcel was received by them, I don’t think the correct tracking number was ever activated by DPD who as such are still waiting for it from MIC to put onto their system.
As to why MIC changed the label when they collected the parcel from Kevan is still a mystery, I have asked them but they say it could be for a number of different reasons.

Well the DPD agent at Manx Independent Carriers has not turned up for work today, and they do not have any other agents who deal with the accounts
I am trying to find out if I can go to the DPD Lost property Office today to collect the parcel from them personally.

Graham,
Best of luck today, I am sure we all realise what a stress this is for you.
Hope you get some progress.

another clear example of people 'working from home' ..... clearly NOT WORKING
someone is taking the MIC !!!
( sorry couldn't help myself )
joking aside , this is the type of thing that just destroys proxy racing and puts off organisers and entrants alike
good luck Graham , hopefully things fall back into place soon

Pretty soon we will have to decide whether to abandon the proxy entirely or not as we will be running out of time if this proxy schedule moves into December.
My faith in getting a resolution from Manx Independent Carriers /DPD is beginning to fade as this goes on, so I will ask anyone who has any insider influence to do what they can. I am quite happy to collect from the Depot which is not so far from me.
