Touring Cars Slotting - Official Results & Reports

Whilst that's true, the cars were run in pairs with each pair having very similar qually times so in theory the races should have been close...this was true sometimes and not others as car setup doesn't suit everyone the same.

The only times I've seen proxies run one car at a time is Rally, qually, and hosts running their round solo.

As Graham stated hosts could run their round how they preferred you could run them singly if you prefer.

State Side most proxies are run to maximize the number of laps per car and at 10-11.5 volts which help w handling.  Savage GT has consistently beaten me bad so maybe I need to revisit my way of thinking.

Track voltage isn't something we've ever changed at our club, it's 13.8V historically (voltage of a fully charged 12V battery) so that's what we run on all our tracks.

hmmm food for thought
my cars always seem to fare better over the pond
could lower voltages be the reason ?
or am i up against better builders on this side  Rofl

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
I a very sorry to say that the promise made last Friday by DPD agent has not materialised and we are still without the box of cars.
The agent is not available to speak to until Thursday, so hope to get an update then.

So on this basis the Proxy is suspended once again.

I'll mention it to my contact, when I see him, tonight. See if we can get a clearer picture. Hopefully, it will be traceable on the original DPD number, again.

The Manx Independent Carriers DPD agent I have been conversing with, told me on Friday that she had agreed with the DPD Lost Property office in Birmingham to refit the original label which she sent to them and that the box would be sent “directly” onto the recipients address ( which we confirmed with her was correct).

When the lady from MIC phoned me last week she asked what was in the box so she could relay that back to the area manager.

I don't know why this process is taking so long.

I just watched a few videos from the Auslot Forum Bathurst Proxy Event Hosted at Mandurah Raceway, Western Australia

...four cars on track together
...and some notable entrants names that are also in our Touring Car Proxy  Thumbup

My pal, who works for DPD said the number will change for each different destination. Once there, ie "received", the number is dead and off the system. I asked him to take a look, anyway. I assume the label sent through from MIC will have the Burnley address and identification number, but I thought it had been agreed for it to straight to the North East?
