My two entries should be posted tomorrow.
Despite knowing I was entering since after last years event, I still didn't get round to building/prepping them for a while, then various circumstances led to no testing other than a few laps of my wood track !

So I am not expecting much from them, but its my first ever proxy so it is all experience  Bigsmile

1 X SCX VW Toureg
1 X Revell Snap Kit Mitsubishi Pajero on a modified Scaleauto Porsche 959 RAID chassis.

Currently wending their way through the postal system. Should they navigate that successfully I hope they can do as well on the Raid circuits, as they've had no set-up or track time whatsoever. Just a 9v battery check.

Like Savage I was full of good intent - but it didn't really kick in until the deadline was looming - too late. At least his have had a few laps though, so should beat these two.  Bigsmile Ah - but wait, we're in different classes so maybe not. We could both be playing supporting roles.  Tease

C'est la vie.

(More on the Hummer crew cab conversion will appear on the Bench thread - later.  Time )

My two for this year - the return of the Ninco BMW X5 and a proxy debut for the SCX TT ThunderFlash Baja Buggy.

Should be a fun pair to drive and hopefully robust enough to survive the challenge Sun

Lucky I got my Hummer finished and found it a fresh partner then Andy, as my backup pair would have been the same as yours!

Wavegreen Good Morning

well we are almost there. most cars have now been received, so I will start to prepare the 1st Round " Test your Fitness"
Sadly two of the original declared Class D cars have been withdrawn by the entrants after not being ready in time.

As last year it will be the formidable SCX Track more or less the same configuration, as long as I can find the plan  Rofl laid out in our loft room which my wife normally uses for her Fitness and dancing exercises. However I will add abit of additional "rough track terrain"  which I thought about since last year.
But it will be a good test to see if those Raid cars are up to running the series  Tease

As previously stated there will be no concessions made for Class D (Open) vehicles, so if they don't "cut it" with the obstacles, they will not finish the round.
Only Class A  (Ninco) vehicles will be given the concession of not running the high rise SCX obstacles etc.

Below is the list of Entrants cars as received, still waiting for two entrants cars which hopefully will arrive in today or tomorrows post. After that if any cars fail to turn up they will be sent on to the next host next week. I may decide to postpone running the Second Round (Ninco track) until the end of the competition (depending on how well or not this first one goes, you may remember last year was a disaster with the SCX track power supply and connection issues (which I have replaced but not tried out since packing away the track last year)

As to my own entries, I had been waiting to see what Class C cars might be entered before deciding which to run myself, so since we have 3 Avant Mitsubishi Lancers, and although I have one myself,  I thought I would enter the Scaleauto Porsche 959 which has been on my shelf for quite a few years.

Still in its original packaging as of this morning  Cool  but slot cars were made to run, so out it will come tomorrow for some speedy preparation work Bigsmile

So these will be my entries

As to the format, this year I will use the same recording sheet set up as for the Grand Prix, hosts can choose their Primary method of measurement that they prefer for the Initial measurement, the secondary measurement (if available) only being referred to in the event of two cars having the same primary measurement.

After each Round points will be awarded for the entries finishing positions for each Round run. Hosts are restricted to one or two Rounds each.
Each Class will have its own winner, there is no team award.
There will be a medal for "Best presented Car" but these will be restricted to those with either respray or white kit painted self decoration etc
