With ParcelForce you are again relying on them to send a van to collect, at least with Royal Mail they should collect and deliver when they make the usual Mail drop……perhaps ?
Bye the way DPD have been just now on time to collect the box of cars, and I have paid extra for mid day 12.00 noon delivery tomorrow…..so we will see if that’s worth it.

And so with JMay new motor pod for the MR Slotcar Corvette on the way, I think it will secure a place in the proxy, lets face it SO MUCH more exciting to run than the Opel Kadett
I have bought a kit version also, so I can do my own decoration on the car for the RoadRace .
After much consideration, I decided also on a return of the Aston Martin DBR1/3, last used for the "Lights on Le Mans Proxy" in 2022...seems like a long time ago now.
And yes it will run with the "Lights on"
The Lola T280/T290 arrived just yesterday, in time for a test run at my local club, I am hoping for a white body kit to arrive before the end of August, so I can decorate it myself and keep this version for our club racing. Alternatively if the actual NSR Targa Florio version arrives in time before we start, I may be tempted to do a body swop.

I've tried three different motors in the Jags and was really impressed with the Scaleauto Tech-1 20k S-can I bought months ago that I tested in one of the cars...so I bought another and both cars have the same.
Life is like a box of Slot cars...

Final line up for Roadrunners team
Well after a lot of testing over the last 2 days, I decided on these 3.
Although I tried hard to get the modified MR Corvette into the line up, it just did not like my Rally style track very much at all.
I was going to enter the Lola T290 but I see someone else has this in mind, so I have decided on the better looking Ferrari 330P. I intend to use new body for the chassis, as I noticed that a Le Mans version had a very similar livery to the Targa florio version, so I have another white kit and new decals on order. I will probably retain the chassis and motor set up as it is, as I have been testing it and it is as good on the Rally track as on the raceway
The driver of the Aston Martin was very ugly, so I have changed him for a more handsome driver, and the car has new wheels and wheel inserts, just need to change those number decals.......where can I find a number 100 and I wonder if I can find a passenger
