Final preps today, trim rear tyre widths, check ground clearance (I found a large diameter hardened washer that I made at work over 30 years ago for an RC buggy, it's 1.48mm thick with a layer of tape on one side), tape over the holes on one, blutac in the other, lubed the bearings and changed one wire in one car that was a little short.

I decided to stick with my Slot it GT40 after testing it at my local club, the NSR was a little faster but more unstable a needed more controller optimisation. The slot it ( NSR motor) just run very smoothly.
The De Tomaso, was very difficult based on the initial set up i had on my home track, so i changed the set up to improve the running on the wood track.
