We have a set of slotit GT40s as club cars, they're bashed and bruised and must be 7 years old, crashed by the inexperienced, thrashed by the racers but still go great with that SW setup and ballast.
NSR versions on the other hand don't seem as easy to get race ready.

So am I, the car runs well with a 25krpm sidewinder short can motor as I tried it recently at my club, but just too slow with a 22k motor. Maybe if I changed it to an anglewinder with a long can motor it might have worked better ? But I am also a little concerned about the likelyhood of loosing the raised rear mirror which would be difficult to replace. At least when I user it in "live" club racing I can retrieve it and glue it back on.
