Extreme Slotting 2022

I can only apologise on behalf of my 2CV, that's the first time I've seen it turn a wheel, if I'd realised it would be that bad I'd never have entered it.

Once again thanks for the driving and videos, its nice to see the cars in action.  Thumbup

Those Mitoos chassis are excellent bits of kit, expensive but worth every penny if off-road slot cars are your thing.
Where did you get the XE Team Rosberg body from Graham ? I assume its resin, do you know its weight ?

I look forward to the next adventure our cars are going too  Cool

yes it was from a resin moulder in Spain called Remonslot Racing parts, he shows his products in the Dakar Folm website. I cannot directly recollect the exact weight of the XE body, but I also bought a Dakar Audi e-tron body at the same time. This one weights 23 grams untrimmed and without the transparent and interior parts which are about 2 grams untrimmed.

I just regret my choice of driver, I should have guessed when he insisted on taking his dog Cool , very superstitious, word of warning, if a guy called Stevie Wonder contacts you about a drive on next years event SAY NO, I mean... he kept stopping at every corner to be put back on the right track.

Raid Car de-briefing
Well another great run, many thanks to Andy at Brighton for running our cars in Round 5, only another 3 to go.

Class R1 (Ninco)
1st Place - Paul C - Mitsubishi Montero
2nd Place - Andy P - BMW X5
3rd Place - Gpa113 - VW  Touareg
Perhaps not surprisingly another change around at the top, with Paul just a whisker in the lead, but perhaps more surprising Gpa113's VW Touareg has slowly risen up the ladder to 3rd place....umm perhaps this cars been tuned to make a late run for the class win.

Class R2 (SCX)
Joint 1st Place goes to Paul C (again) VWTouareg and Andy P's Thunderflash
3rd Place - James A - Mitsubishi Montero
First 3 cars perhaps breaking away in this Class but nothing between the 3 at the moment.

Class R3 (Pro-Cars)
1st Place - RoadRunners - Porsche 959
2nd Place- Hotlap - Mitsubishi Lancer
3rd Place - Makem - Mitsubishi Lancer
RoadRunners Porsche making a break for it in this class, two Lancers not far behind, but the Hummer is finding it's feet and posing a threat to the Lancers for 2nd and third.

Class R4 (Open)
1st Place - RoadRunners - Odyssey 21
2nd place - AA Recovery - Transit
3rd Place - Savage GT - Mitsubishi Pajero
RoadRunners still well ahead of the field but took a fright this Round as Rosberg was overtaken by the AA Van Driver  Banghead
Oxo Cubes Pickup and Qman's 2CV not liking the rocks in the road, and coming to a sudden halt.

So we are off to Gpa113's Trial track next, can't wait to see whats in stall for the cars there.
