I don't know my friend. As you said earlier, these are busy people, tuning their slot cars, building their tracks, and looking for ways to bend the rules. They probably don't have time for our nonsense.
Ya mean I have to go back to sitting on the side of the track, waiting for some schmuck to hit the button so that I can light up my bulbs every time someone crashes?? And what about you? You're wasted just looking after the race timing!!!
Aaaahhh, you may well be correct, but those are our jobs...
Boys, it's all well and good getting introspective, and feeling sorry for yourselves, but we haven't even finished the show properly. You haven't forgotten the end of our song now, have you??

I’ve found SlotRacer to be invaluable while I’ve been getting back into things, as the slot car world has moved on a bit in my absence.
The Library, the Guide and this forum have all been a goldmine of information, from planning tracks to setting up and tweaking cars.
Many thanks to RetroRich67 for his kind comments.
Our web stats tell us that this site averages over 4,000 separate visits per day, and has had over 29 million hits this year. The point is that although not many people are kind enough to sign up and give such nice feedback, there are significant numbers visiting the site, and hopefully benefitting from, and enjoying all of the content.
So we'd like to say a huge thank you to everybody who has signed up, joined in, and helped this website to become one of the most friendly, helpful, informative, and enthusiastic slot car sites around. We're all here trying to promote and progress the hobby we love, and the best way to do that is to enjoy it, and share it.
We'd also like to say that we started this site with the intention of being totally independent, completely free from commercial concerns, and absolutely advert free. Our intention was to provide a little oasis for the hobby, run solely by slot car people, for slot car people.
That commitment still stands, and will continue as long as we've got all of you good folk with us.
