Famous Circuits

Zandvoort is situated on the Dutch Coast near Haarlem, it has a lap distance of 2.6 miles. The only feature of any great difficulty is the Double Bend of the Hunze Rug, where the road runs round the back of the Pits. Before the war, Holland had no motor racing circuits, but when the war was over and the time came to clear the ruins of the little seaside town of Zandvoort, it was decided to use the debris as a basis for a racing circuit which would attract visitors and business to the area.

As your Circuit develops through the stages of 2 lane, 4 lane and 6 lane to a super 8 lane layout you will experience all the thrills of planning and building a real racing circuit - remember that such famous circuits as Brands Hatch did in fact start in quite a small way, gradually being extended to their present size.
