- New 1/32 MRSlotcar chassis kit Chrisguyw has posted news of his development and testing of a new chassis from MRSlotcar which should hit the shelves during the first/second quarter of 2022.

- Fly Lancia 037 Safari Rally Do you like your rally cars clean or filthy? Fly are giving you a choice with this new Safari Rally release – a model of the car driven to ninth place in 1986 by local drivers Greg Criticos and Marzio Kravos. The mud will cost you an extra two quid.

- Grab them while you can George Turner is taking 21 of his kits out of production to make way for new models. It’s probably worth having a look at the list, as this will be your last chance to buy them.

- Teamslot Modified Ford Series 2021 Escort RS2000 X-Pack Jamie Gough’s fabulous Martini Escort has been updated by Teamslot and will be available this week as a worldwide release. Jamie and all fast Ford fans will be utterly delighted.

- Toyota 86C Available now from Slot.it is the number 35 Toyota 86C driven by Toshio Suzuki, Hitoshi Ogawa and Kaoru Hoshino at the Fuji 1000 Km in 1986.

- Winter Slot Car Market UK slot car enthusiasts will be returning to the British Motor Museum in Gaydon for the first time since 2019. Not everyone will be there, so please be safe and take care of each other.

- Lancia Aurelia Outlaw West country restorers Thornley Kelham have created a high-performance lightweight restomod of a 1950s Italian grand tourer. Starting with a Lancia B20 GT Coupé, aluminium panels have replaced steel and a 3.2 litre Alfa Romeo V6 Busso gives the car 300bhp through a modern limited-slip diff. - Qatar Grand Prix Off the track there was more controversy, penalties and knuckles rapped – but on the Qatar circuit there was plenty of great racing too, including one driver’s first podium for seven years. Find coverage – and spoilers – on the F1 website.

- WRC Rally Monza It was a momentous weekend in northern Italy – a final outing for the third-generation World Rally Cars, Julien Ingrassia’s final rally and the last time Sébastien Ogier would be fighting to be WRC world champion. - McRae 2001 Colin McRae was tantalisingly close to a second WRC title, but for a disastrous split-second decision – Nicky Grist recalls that topsy-turvy 2001 WRC season.

- European Rally Championship The 2021 ERC champions were decided in the Canary Islands over the weekend. - British Rally Championship Yes, yet another rally championship was decided at the weekend – this time on the iconic roads of Ulster. - Baja 1000 The iconic desert race through Baja California in Mexico saw just shy of 300 entries tackle the 1,226-mile course. The winners finished inside 21 hours, but most didn’t. You can read more about this most gruelling of off-road races on the Racer website.
