Unfortunately not Ade, most of the cars listed in this Event have been covered at one time or another by Scalextric, so I want this to be based on Scalextric or equivalent body shell weight models from SCX or Ninco. Fly body shells are often lighter versions of the same models, which could be a performance advantage in the context of this Event.
But you can use Fly body shells in Event 1 or 3, which have more diverse car lists.

Hi Graham
I am sorry I have another question.
The rules state 'all wheels and tyres must be the same size', Is this the same diameter and width or can the fronts be narrower as long as same diameter?
Sorry also is the 15.8min the wheel diameter or overall diameter?
Thank you
Fred

The minimum and maximum tyre widths are specified in the dimensional requirements table. So the “same size refers to the wheel/tyre diameter”. The 15.8mm is for the Event 2 &3 cars minimum wheel size ( not wheel & tyre) perhaps I should clarify that.

Hi Graham
So as long as the wheels and tyres are the same diameter, the rears could be 10mm wide and the fronts 8mm wide for events 2and 3?
Thank you

Yes, the idea in regard to all 4 wheels having the same outer diameter is to ensure we dont receive cars which look visually unrealistic by having small front wheels compared to the rear ones, as sometimes slot car builders are prone to do this......
