We're seeing wildly fluctuating results in this proxy, it just goes to show you can have a perfect car on one track and be nowhere on another...
...the trick is finding a setup that works on the majority of tracks...or just be lucky with your car, tyre and motor choices.
It seems the Predator motor lacks brakes on plastic tracks for some reason so I'll be fitting alternatives going forward.
Ade has said before that motor suffers from lack of brakes on their plastic track which we don't see on our wood track.
I wonder if my Marcos will ever catch up. Looks like a good contender for the booby prize, at the moment! Perhaps I should have sent one of its stablemates?

As I remember you had to send me another pair of wheels at the last minute becaause the original ones were illigal
You sure the replacement ones were balanced ?
Blimey, that seems a long time ago!
I'm going to say that I must have put the replacement wheels/tyres on the balancer, as it was still reasonably new at the time (although I have no signed of QA sheet as evidence).

Of course it could have been my procise positioning of the wheels on the car, thats giving you the current running sucess

NO! if we had an uneven number of cars in the group I was going to politely suggest next week that perhaps a mechanical failure (like the eyelet falling out) might be a reason for the car to be disgretely withdrawn....but time wise I guess it makes no difference if they are run in pairs. Busy time for the Marshall though
Wye Valley, Phil, Same and the rest of the club, thank you for hosting and getting the most out of my cars. Congratulations to those who are happy with their results and good luck to everyone on the next Raceday.
