...got to say the lineup of cars that have arrived for this proxy on page 1 of this thread is very impressive Cool

I have just tried repackaging them back in the box with the bubble wrap and they are OK, but I notice with the 2 cars in question the full length of the car with the wings extended on the rear makes it a fairly tight fit (length wise) within the allocated cardboard honeycomb spaces. So actually being exposed on the outside sections I think would not have taken much to impact damage them. But it is always easy to be wiser after the event.

Your cars arrived, I assume the Porsche 911 GT1 was packaged intentionally without its rear wing, but the traction magnet fitted was unintentional Rofl

Good evening,
well indeed Green Star racing team arrived today along with Rusillo Racing cars.

So we only PaintOneHorse entry to arrive from Texas USA.

I have been measuring and compiling the Scrutineer Report and preparing the Technical Information sheets, which I hope to post up tomorrow.
Sadly there has been a couple of non-compliant cars so far and I still have some more Entrant cars to look at, every proxy organizer will tell you that having to tell an entrant that they missed something in the rules is the least pleasent part of the job. However there is a responsibility to the other competitors to ensure a fair playing field as much as possible. I am still considering the appropriate level of penalties to be applied for this proxy, and as to when to apply them, it is abit laborious having to apply them for each separate round so I am thinking of applying a one off points deduction at the start or at the end.

Good afternoon,
I have posted the Scrutineer's Report combined with the Technical spec on the leading page.

Regarding the non compliance issues, luckily their were no more today and I have revisited the previous ones.

I have characterized them as:
*Barely Passable - which means that for one reason or another the measurements were debatable or borderline, so I have accepted that these cars will not have any penalties applied.

** Under investigation - Cars which are clearly violating the set rules, I will contact the entrants to see if they want to try to rectify the issues, if not then these cars will have a 5% points penalty applied at the end of the series.

I have not received the remaining entry car from Paint Horse One as yet, but I know the entrant had some last minute issues with the US mailing system and that the car is on its way now. As I really want to include the car in the qualifying session, I am inclined to either postpone the entire session until mid next week or perhaps run the Modified Standard & Procar Classes and then the Revoslots before the first points scoring round... I will decide tomorrow

Luckily the motor was of quite low Magnetic traction, so I also took that into account, otherwise it would have gone into the 2 asterisk category.
I would estimate the motor is ~ 1.4mm clearance so not far away. As a matter of interest I also tested one of mine which has the original Slot it C tyres on and not been run, that was also had the same clearance as yours.

However I think you could have used slightly higher profile tyres to give the required clearance of the motor, some proxy scrutineers would not have passed it........

It obviously wasn't deliberate...its a car that has sat in my box unused for a couple of years that suited this event. I don't have any reliable means of measuring ride height, but it looked OK to my eye!

As I said in my covering letter, it's the saggiest chassis I have ever come across, which doesn't help.
