Once my GT Sports proxy cars are in the post I'll seriously start thinking about this proxy.

Just spent an hour deciding that I have one option already waiting to be built (resin body with 3D chassis in a bag)
...but struggling to find something other than the obvious GT40 that will probably be uber popular.

My advice is just enter what you want and not worry about who enters what other cars. I am always surprised by the eventual entry list
And even when you do get a few of the same cars, that can be quite interesting and closely fought as well.
I'm quite looking forward to the battle of the BMW M1 cars in the current proxy, they have all been assembled differently. so although it is very lightly that one of them will win the class, the question is which one

Yes, I was thinking along those lines myself.
I also agree about Event 1 looking like a BMW shootout but your Pantera and the 512BB may spoil a few parties as all the cars in that class should be competitive.

I would put my money on Bangers Racing being in with a good chance of being in the mix, as we know Chris can turn a “turd” into a winning car with his chassis set up
As for my De Tomaso, perhaps not one to bet on myself, but at least on my track it was close to my best club Gp5 car. I will be taking the De Tomaso to my club wood track tomorrow night, so that might prove interesting, both for the club members who will be amused at the fact I tried to make the Carrera car work as well as a Sideways but it might change my betting view

You can make Carreras competitive with the right chassis, motor, running gear and tyres as you saw with my Audi RS5 which is up there with most Saloons on our track.
... allegedly better than NSR

Good Morning
As I heard nothing negative I have uploaded the new version of the Final rules onto the leading page. This makes much easier reading.
"Racing Classes" has been removed and the wording changed to the fastest cars within a category instead. These awards will be made depending on how the eventual entrants list turns out, but there will need to be at least 2 cars of the same category running for the award to be made. So the main focus will be on the Event winners and runners up. However I have added a new category for scratch build cast resin based models.
Entrant List so far
Gerry F (2)
Wayne H (2)
Graham E (2)
Kevan R (2)
Andy W (2)
Kevin V (2)
Chris K (2)
Paul C (1)
Tony P (1)
Jeremy B (1)
Jim S (1)
If your entering but undecided on 1 or 2 car entries, I will assume that it is one unless you make it absolutely clear that you are confirming 2 car entries (these will be most likely limited depending on the general response). Two car entries must be in different Events.
I will add that those putting their name to 2 entries will be charged for a 2 car entry, even if they decide to withdraw one at the last minute.
It is £15 for one car and £20 for 2 car entries.
