Good luck with that, roads horrendous north of Leicester (the NERCS lads are at Slotfest at Gaydon, said drive down was awful).

After a 2 day journey (not counting the weekend) the cars made it up to the North East and the cars have been delivered to the local depot and the host is on the way to collect them, so the 9th Round should be on for tonight.
wishing good luck to the NERCS club, hope it goes well

Not really surprised it was a 2 day trip, the weather was extremely bad and as you say South West to North East was always going to be a stretch. Originally I had organised the rounds with less distance difference in between, but as we know that was not to be. Again emphasises the need to have a wider breathing space between hosts which we will do in future.

Regarding the Autumn Proxy, Goodwood, I have already seen a request for including the Scaleauto Tech 1 SC-0011b, on the motor list.
I would fully support this request as, the SC-0011b would be my motor of choice for a 20k motor.
I have a couple which I have used in previous proxy's and would like to make use of them, again.
Scaleauto have released the SC-0011c, which has a higher rpm of 21,300rpm, but the earlier version SC-0011b is rated at 20,000rpm. This would make it suitable for Class B and Class C cars.

The Scalauto Tech 1 Long Can motor is included , but there are big differences planned next year which will be announced soon regarding the rules. But as an taster the use of long cans will be restricted to just the Event 2 Touring cars and only in line configuration.
