Hi
First group through the morning.
Nice run a few probs with one of the cars but got it running ok .. trouble with vintage 50,s cars .
Nice and quick but it was the Yanks which took the honours today.
Roadrunners on top of the rostrum.
OK Graham, I'll take your word for it as I still can't understand it
The 'Stang has scored pretty much 1st or 2nd all through the series so far, but yet sits at 9th in the class leaderboards, Yet the Calibra has had a DNF and a third yet that sits in second. That is what has me confused

That's because the Mustang run times are 9th overall compared to all B Class Cars (21 in all) compared to C Class with only 12 cars in it. So statistically you going to do better in Class C with less but perhaps stronger competition. However the points range is intentionally small 1-20 per car for each round.
So overall it evens itself out in the end.
The system results are still awarded separately for Events and Car Class, so the addition of both only accounts for teams with 2 cars and I think is a reasonable assertion to make both cars need to have shown best performance for both race performance in Event & Class to be awarded "Best Team Award"
It was initially my expectation when I started these proxy's that we might get the same number of cars in each Event and also roughly the same number of car construction types. Needless to say that this has proven not to work, although I stand by the results as showing that we do end up with the "right" or fastest cars finishing at the end of a series. No badly constructed or slow cars actually benefit from the system.
I think next year after the last in the series of the "Triple Crown proxy's" I would only run 2 or 3 Events in a proxy in future and only standard and open classes, but I am still contemplating how or if these will be done in future. In the end it all depends on the amount of support I get.

Hi
This afternoon with the 2nd event group was rather long .. this time it was the turn of the Bavarian cars to dominate.
Bangers Racings Batmobile is an awesome slot car .. just so smooth and quick a pleasure to drive.
8seconds quicker than his nearest competitor. He will be changing his name to Super Max from now on.
All the cars were a joy to drive and all well prepared the Capris unfortunately were more challenging ..great in a straight line but just nervous in the corners .. a design flaw .
