Tyres unglued, argh, thats a kicker !
Where are the cars going next, and are they allowed to be re-glued or replaced if damaged from ungluing ?

Phil has glued the tyres back on, so you should be ok for the next round at the Viking Club.

It looks like for future proxies we at the Manx club are going to have to set the track between 10V and 12V for testing purposes to make a better choice of gearing as our track is the traditional 13.8V

13.8V to 10V is over a 25% drop in performance which could explain the 'slow', 'underpowered', 'lacking punch' comments we're seeing for some cars.

Hi,
It was great fun running all the different cars.

I did notice around 50% of the cars didn’t have any upward movement on the front axle… great for wood tracks not so good for bumpy Ninco.

Craig did video each run. He’s just sorting out the editing etc.

Phil.

I don't think the voltage is entirely to blame, when I did the qualifying session on my (not so fast) curvy Carrera track I used 12volts and the Deadheads Rover SD1 was fastest in the Event and 11th fastest overall.

It is always the case that cars which are developed on a particular track are most likely to run best on their home track. And that is regardless of who is actually driving them. That is apart from my own cars which seem to run better on other peoples tracks  Rofl
