Yes, spending the first month of the proxy chasing around DPD and associated MIC is not something I signed up for, I should at least claim for the additional costs in phone calls and the amount of wasted time, let alone the cost to my wellbeing. I was about one week away from cancelling the entire Proxy series.
However I learned my lessons, and giving any company dealing with MIC a wide berth is one of them (at least when sending cars across the water to some not so far away Island)

But let's try and put it behind us.......and I had to look that "boogity" terminology up as I never heard of it

Usually with three boogities, a term used by Darral Waltrip, NASCAR announcer, at the beginning of each race to tell the drivers to get a move on...

4x labels attached , on top of each other
label #1 is from Graham to IOM
label #2 is from IOM to Burnley (me)
label #3 is from IOM to DPD lost property Smethwick ?
label #4 is from ???? to Burnley (me)
labels #3 and #4 were very difficult to separate , probably intentional
if you zoom in , both recipient and sender can be clearly seen in all labels , so who is Tina Cox in label #3 ?
on another note :-
all cars performed flawlessly .... except for

Event 2 Brumos RSR #33 BMW 2.8 .... the front body post screw is undone , maybe stripped ? also the guide is very 'wobbly/loose'
Event 3 ALS racing #1 Audi A4 ...... Glazing is detached and is loose in the body
if allowed by Graham, i will look at remedying these before the round and will provide before/after pics
if ok , i will need info from Brumos regarding setting float

Until next weekend

Yes quite happy for you to rectify those issues, and I am happy with your Vectra with the restored body parts. So no more penalties for this car now.
Can you put the labels you removed into the plastic folder in the box please for me to look at when the series ends.

One question that needs an answer to the lost property fiasco, the sender details are on there, there's a phone number too so why didn't they send it back or phone that number

The main question for me is that the parcel appeared to have been re-labelled by Tina cox (presumably of MIC) directly to the Lost Property Office ?
So it maybe worth asking MIC why did she do this ?

Sammy did that label, so she tells me, she said she remembered doing it.
...I will however ring up MIC on Friday as I don't work Fridays and ask to speak to her for an explanation
But most importantly.....WE'RE RACING AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!
...and secondly, time to get thinking about the Sport/GT proxy car

I find that very obscure, the “DPD account manager for MIC would intentionally relabel the parcel to be sent to the lost property office ” When I spoke to her on the phone as to what reason would have been to relabel a parcel, she said she did not know ?

The whole fiasco is probably down to pure unfortunate accident
