Having managed to get from the Customer service to the Complaints department, there is still an impasse in getting Depot to actually send the parcel from the DPD (Lost Property Office) to the delivery address. And I have been refused permission to be able to collect myself.
So we are still waiting...which is now 22 days since I placed the "next day" delivery service order.
As you're the person who paid for this shipment, have you asked how a parcel in lost property can be 'claimed' by the owner?
...and what do they intend doing to get that parcel to it's delivery address.
If the DPD shipping label has been covered (wrongly) with a new shipping label have they tried removing it to see what's underneath, there should be two shipping labels, the one I put on with Kev in Burnleys address and under that is the one Graham put on to get it to me here in the IoM.
They are going to use the original tracking number and delivery address ( as it’s never been activated).
But I have asked Kevin to photograph the box before he opens it, should it arrive.
Is it safe to say the box has been identified\found?

According to the Computer at DPD, its never been actually lost. Just been resting up in the DPD Lost Property Office with a different label. It has been there since 17th September, the problem has been getting back out again. It takes longer for DPD to send a message to get the Box out, then it would have done to run most of the proxy series, so far.

Feeling positive this morning, so assuming that the cars arrive in time for the proposed next Round on the weekend 21st & 22nd October.
This is my proposed schedule revision.
This is a very tight schedule, and I don't propose to extend it into January next year.
So should the cars not appear in time to re-start the proxy this time, my intention would be to postpone the proxy until the spring next year.

Good Morning
well there is good and bad news this morning
Good news is that I have seen tracking on the original tracking number that the parcel has been delivered, but as there was no advanced warning, it has been delivered to a neighbour of Kevin's
Now I know Kevin is abroad working at the moment until next Thursday, so whether we are able to verify that this is the correct parcel until then I am not sure.
But at least there is more hope than I had for some weeks (31 days since I placed the order).
So everyone please keep your fingers crossed
