Eh ?
Quite logical really,
1st choice =1
2nd choice =2
3rd choice =3
So thee Theme with the lowest number when all the entries are added together is preferred
I could reverse the scoring, but I am a lazy bugger

Good Morning,
I had a surge in replies for the selection of the topic for the theme next years proxy, so I see no reason why not to reveal it today.
17 replies which is a representative sample of the club membership, and we do have a dominant choice which has prevailed.
the voting was;
1) GP/F1/Indy = 37
2) Prototype's = 33
3) GT Sports cars = 26
So I don't think that any remaining entrants who wished to vote would influence the preference that much.
Therefore GT Sports it is

Good Morning
After a little consideration I decided that the "Triple Crown" series of 3 associated Proxys will end after the last GT Sports one in Spring 2024.
Thereafter it got me thinking as to what I would like to do next (all being well) in the 2nd part of 2024. Having covered "across era" proxy's for mostly every permutation of race cars I have decided to do a kind of "Goodwood Revival" type of approach
Whereby the "Events" become like a real race day programme.
So I would like to hear what others think of the concept, good, bad or indifferent.........

That's a great spread of very interesting cars, in fact could be one of a series of similar through other eras:
Classic 50's & 60's
70's & 80's era (for example - 4th Generation Group 5's, Group C/GTP, Modsports, Special Saloons, CanAm)
Modern (for example LMP's, GT1/2/3/4, pre 2021 DTM)
Historic pre-50's
For the 50's 60's era can we enter period modsports and special saloons which would allow modified bodyshells like the photo below

many thanks, I am at the listening stage at the moment, so any useful information about similar competitions is very helpful.
As Kevan has picked up on, I like the idea of having a format which potentially could be the basis of different time era's in the future if this one proved popular.
So at the moment I have suggested a 2 decade period, which to be honest I was not sure if even that was perhaps too wide, maybe just a 50's or 60's period maybe enough ?
