Rally Cars Slotting Proxy 2023

(21st-Apr-23, 07:53 AM)Kevan Wrote:  R.6 what's happened to the reports, are they now being carried on in a different thread?

I was hoping for some feedback from Abergavenny

The host results and reports are on the “Rally Cars Slotting Official Results & Reports” post.

Up until now all the reports are in this thread, it would make sense to keep them all in one thread but have the official results in the new thread.

No, I think the host and cumulative results and reports of competition should now follow on one thread.
This one can remain for all the chat type inter Round discussions, or for those who want to post up their own results etc.

Obviously initially I only intended to use just the one thread for simplicity, but with the vastly improved database from Jason, it became better to introduce the Official Results thread for clarity and to to avoid confusion to those wanting to follow the results from the Rounds. In fact we used to do this in the very first "Brighton to John O Groats Road Race". So it was not ideal to change tack halfway through a series, but we are where we are now.

And for the "Touring Cars Proxy" we will do the same and run an Official Results & Reports thread, but this time right from the start.

One thing's for sure, this is a super popular thread looking at the replies and views so far.

Hi
Well it’s been a hectic week for me .. I was supposed to be free all week and then work gets in the way so I have been travelling a lot so hence the delay.
We, that is myself and Paul Taylor of the Wirral Slot Car Club have been busy on the Friday running the cars .. the track as you will see is super smooth and technically tricky with some tight twists and then a bridge which in some cars can be take off time.,??.
We have videoed all the cars on their complete stage and fingers crossed this will work and you will see your car perform.
With the results page we have omitted giving comments as you will have a visual on what and how your car performed.
