Great job so far! We have the same interests at heart - wanting to make it look as real as it can be, without going nuts like a Niemas car!!
The mesh is a nice touch. You can buy metal mesh screen from amazon, in different sizes - I use it on every project I build, it's great stuff!

Thanks, yes Niemas is a awesome builder.
Have you got a link to the mesh? I don't normally do amazon but it would be interesting to see the different sizes.
Cheers

Decals on, these from Colin at C & C Designs are really good.
I made this little piece for the front that didn't come with the Scaleauto kit.
I've chopped up an Aston Martin and stolen it's lights, they need quite a bit of tweaking to fit.
The exhaust ones are off a old car where the lights are more orange than white, these come on great and look like flames.
I've painted the window surround and made the digital race number, I was hoping to use a small calculator screen for this but could find one small enough. I know there is some smart tech guys out there and I think they could make these easily. Just finding the willing guy.
I've got a few small things to do and then she's finished.
Cheers for looking.

Thank you mate, I really do appreciate you and Jason giving me feedback.
I've got many more cars in the plans to make, but to be honest am thinking of just getting on with it and not posting because the interaction on the group has really died off.
I'm not after praise, I joined this forum because there seemed to be a lot more interaction and communication between everyone.
I know my midget didn't float many peoples boats but surely its about the hobby?
Cheers Anthony.
