Good evening,
after a very busy weekend at the National Vintage Slot Car Races at Rockingham, it is back to the proxy show.
My gratitude to Phil at the Wye Valley Club for running this Round tonight, as I know also had a busy slot racing weekend (but not the same event as me).
I am feeling quite weary and without having to do any night shifts, so I guess Phil might also, so don't expect any Stage record breaking results......but with Phil driving the cars around the Quarry track you never know

The Savage GT BMW M1 was awesome to drive, the car never lost grip over the 8 laps.
The Porsche 924 was spot on too and loved the hairpin bends.
I did enjoy seeing the 80’s Scalextric Metro 6R4 move rapid round the stage… I had an original one back in the day and it was pretty dire.
The Ninco Lancia and Porsche were very consistent on every lap.
Thank you for hosting, and thank you for driving my cars so well
After the (self inflicted) problems on some earlier stages, I am glad the BMW M1 could show some pace at last
Courtney Sports Porsche 924 looks like it ran it very close !
