After a great days racing at the 1st BRM 1/24th National race in the UK, it s back to the proxy.....
Having considered all things that passed ........ and again I hope BARacer did not feel to much disappointment at not being able to get all the cars around his track. He did a great job in difficult circumstances
So we have the results, I have deliberated over the time penalty (or which ever way you want to describe it) for the cars unable to make the run on the track, and also took account of the fact that some cars were probably really assisted a little too much pushing around by the marshals which accounted for a very long run time
So I have applied a 200 sec time DNF Default time across the 3 Events (based on the average time + 1minute), which also means that a couple of cars which eventually made it round but took an excessive time do benefit a little from this, as well as giving the DNF cars the chance of a recovery within the overall competition time frame.
Before I get challenged on this ... as I am sure to be
this is the decision of the RoadRace Administrator after alot of deliberation and the decision is now non reversible, and this formula will continue will be used when we get to the next set of hurdles as we are bound to.
