If you mean the SlotIt Merc...some Slot Rally clubs readily accept it already so presume so.

So is it allowed or not?
If not how about a Boss Mustang?
I'm looking for a shell that I already have to fit a Slot-it chassis

The Merc C Klasse replaced the 190E in manufacturing terms in 1993. But I don’t know of any National Rally History. So you need to do a search and come up with some evidence ?
The Mustang Boss is in the same camp, I have not seen it listed on the website I used, so you need to find some evidence.

Which Mustang?...there's loads, the '65 notchback definitely did.
The '69 Mach 1 Mustang won the SCCA Manufacturer’s Road Rally Championship in '69 & '70

I was our club scrutineer for three years, having to google for proof finds lots of good places, the benefit of that builds your own knowledge, it was probably the thing that got me interested in Rally as prior to this I didn't like Slot Rally at all...now it's my favourite.
As long as there's a list of entrants and the Rally the car entered it saves a lot of hassle. The hardest proof to find was the Ferrari F40 and recently F430.
Some would say just stick to 'real' Rally cars but they didn't exist before Lancia designed the Stratos in '73.
Rally is one of those sports that doesn't have a distinct definition as there's different types...even Rally trucks in Estonia
