Autumn Endurance-Interseries Proxy Builds
#21

Decals arrived, and went on lovely as usual for Colin's decals  Thumbup

Another couple of days for them to dry totally, then on to clearcoat and then finishing off the body and lighting ...

Far from perfect, but starting to look like a race car now  Bigsmile

Ok She is pretty near done, no rear lights. That is possible but given the openness of the rear deck and the size of the lights, I decided against it!
Far from perfect, but considering the headache she gave me, I am satisfied enough with the finish.

Once again, many Thanks to Colin (C and C Design) for printing of my decal design and turning it around superfast for me.

Very nice...that livery suits the body shape in my eyes.

What class is that in?

Thanks :)

The 512m is Class D.

Livery is a real one, I based it off this:

Ha !
Well considering its likely to be up against a few wider cars, I doubt it will match those due to its narrower track.
I am just pleased I got her finished in time, I just hope RM gets her to Graham before the deadline.

BTW, anyone else use the slot it lighting kits? Mine seem to take a while to charge the capacitor before the lights come on.

Set up a basic tuning track in the 'cat room' for the weekend.

Have run about 8 different ballast arrangements in the Astra, all logged by the Laptrax app. Will focus on the three quickest set ups, although the quickest wasn't the easiest to drive...so some compromises will need to be made.

All great learning!
