Summer Grand Prix Proxy
#61

Wavegreen Good Morning

Had some very good cars from our entrants, and some interesting results.

But first the scrutineers report

All cars were fully compliant in the classes A.B.C. There is an issue in regards to the overall width of 3 of the cars in class D but having seen and measured  them there is absolutely no chance that you could have made them meet the 62mm width for the early modern cars. So I accept that this maximum track width was rather naive for this class and accept the specification was too narrow. So I will declare that all the cars are compliant.

So Next is the photo section

I have a W196 and F555 but my favourite here is the T50B, there's a couple at the club but only seen once.

I'm loving the realistic tyre and track widths as these are often spoiled by being ridiculously wide 'because they go better'.

Maybe 66mm would be better or specify 12mm wide rears as the 90's era had 380mm wide rears which are narrower tyres than modern ones.
