Just a Class A entry for me, couldn't get the TR7 anywhere near ready in the time.
Parcel being collected by our postman tomorrow!

Night stages will be 'twilight' - hosts will need to see what they are doing - so no more than a small disadvantage if no lights are fitted. Better the cars arrive without lights than miss the cut-off
Looking forward to having your car in the event Ade.

What did you enter? I’m thinking I might throw an entry in to their summer proxy. I’m thinking I might put some 3D printed chassis under some classic scalextric bodies with some ‘go faster’ bits inside. That’s if I can enter!

That was my original plan with this (Classic scalex body & interior, JS Chassis & Flat-6):

It's quick, but a bit of a handful, so in the end I went with a safer choice. Would have love to see how it handled the stages though, maybe my wife should enter too

There is a bit of a tradition in Worthing of 'reject' cars entered by partners ending up doing better than the 'first choice' entries!

That was one of the car on my possible list. I was also thinking JS chassis and other bits and pieces.
I’m thinking i’m going to enter as many proxy races as possible this year, especially if covid keeps the local clubs closed. Plus I quite enjoy prepping cars for proxy races!

Thanks for sharing those pics!
More cars are arriving - boxes from Simon C, Doug, Phil F, Paul C and Graham have arrived in the past 48 hours. And there are a few more I know are on their way.
The countdown is on for the start of the event... All the cars will be presented next Wednesday at Rally HQ, followed by the first action (SS2 - Falmer Rallycross) and then a road journey to Goring, which is scheduled as part of an essential work journey on Saturday 23 January. The six Goring and Worthing stages will take place over five weeks, before the final four stages fill out a frantic week back in Brighton.

The arriving cars are rapidly taking over the house - much to everyone's excitement
It's going to be a busy weekend of setting up Rally HQ, beginning to sort the cars, preparing next Wednesday's presentation ceremony and for SS2 on Thursday.
Our aim is to get coverage from the stages up asap. That'll be results, pictures, reports and - hopefully - some brief video clips. Most of the info will be posted in the evenings or at the weekend. Every Wednesday, I'll put together a Rally HQ weekly news briefing here on SlotRacer Online - expect it to go live around 5pm UK time.
Next Tuesday, I'll start a separate Race Report thread. I will post reminders here - but do make sure you follow the new thread to get notifications.
Just five days to go
