- Manx Modsports is 100% ready
- Le Manx still has a couple of little tweaks but a late change of car (same car/event/class) is probable
- Batmanx still has basic needs to sort but the choice of cars is nailed down...
I would expect new registration form to be completed corresponding to any changes of car or construction please.

A entrant asked me to define whats acceptable regarding tyre swelling, basically if on of the tyres is measuring 10mm and the other is a little over I am not going to penalise anyone. If both tyres are more than 10mm using whats obviously oversize tyres I will penalise them, ask them to change them or disqualify their car. You often get tyres swelling differently. So I will not hold everyone to exactly 10.00mm. I usually measure the tyres a few times over several days, if I think they are likely to be penalised, in order to ensure I am being fair and not just because I had a grumpy day, or my calipers were acting up etc. And often tyres which have been treated will loose their swelling over a number of days, so they might well be compliant by the time we get started.

Usually after grinding tyre sidewalls down to get overall width to 10mm you end up grinding the glued join between the wheel and rubber...is it OK to run a bead of superglue round this join without it being measured as part of the tyre as it's not part of the tyre? I'd rather reinforce that join than chance a tyre coming loose half way through the proxy.

Yes I will be measuring the rubber part of the tyre wall, so that should not be an issue.

I just discovered that a 1p coin is 1.50mm thick if anyone is looking for a ride height 'gauge' for Graham's proxies
...and 3.5g in weight if you're after ballast
...2p coins are 7g and 2.00mm thick
