The Registration/ payment date needs to be a couple of months before the start date really as it is a FINAL confirmation of entry numbers and enables me to clarify any last minute points with the entrants.
I will start a registration thread shortly

I am also thinking that this will be a points based scoring proxy for each round and that depending on the type of “stages” which are used for each round the Rally type Stages will be scored higher than the circuit type stages. But I need a little more time to work this out.

When we have Targa Florio nights we use all the tracks in the room but one car each.
It can get complicated if you count laps/fractions of laps on the circuit but time on a Rally stage as the two can't be added.
So what we do is a set time on the circuit as normal but a set number of laps on the Rally stages then add the total times together.
For the Rally stages we could count the 100ths but we don't bother on club nights...
...but for the proxy I'm going to have to try running the circuit as a set number of laps like the Rally stages and see if Race Coordinator works like that as it's not something we've done before but I'm sure it will work as a time rather than lap race because other hosts have done that for years now.

On a typical club race night we'd have a support series which tends to run races with 3 minutes in each lane, and then the main class which will be set at 20 laps in each lane. For a Targa, I'd more likely be in favour of the latter, with a set amount of laps, and recording the total accumulated time each car completes it in.

I am kinda thinking of that as a kind of points system, as there will most likely be a variety of hosts with different 1,2 or 3 Stage capability. Hopefully most with at least one Rally track available but this could be a Scalex or other plastic assembled track type. So perhaps the combined Rally track or tracks could equal to half the points and the "Sprint track" or club track as a kind of "Rally Power Stage" also half the points. Those who only run 2 Rally stages would have full points, and those with just one Sprint track having half points. Probably the easiest way to score the results.
