Didn’t know that was out there… I scrolled every year searching for something I might have in inventory. Thought the Corvette might be different it’s a Scalextric not the fastback roof so hopefully that’s not a problem.
Not a problem, it is basically the same car type.
If one of us intends using a Scalextric Corvette L88 does it have to be the hardtop as I happen to have one of each?

I don’t mind, we are not looking for absolute historic correctness for the racing. It is meant to be a fun “slot car proxy” otherwise I might as well be asking for exact livery’s or driver representations.
However I would only say that I hope we don’t get all the entrants with the same cars, since Brumos requested the Corvette first, it seems to be gaining popularity.
I might have to start allocations one car type per entrant.
The Revell '69 C3 Corvette kit is a super easy build. It's a great start to one of these beauties. The body style remained the same for '69, '70, and '71.
Hey that's me! The kid on the bike in the background. I was about that age when the 1:1 car was new in '69.
I am still open to any suggestions regarding the car lists or technical regulations etc until the 1st April, after which things will be set in concrete “ for better or worse” and the Final rules & car lists will be issued.
Also still room for more participants to enter if they wish.
I will be asking for cars to be received by 1st September as there might be a couple of rounds run earlier than I initially thought.
The last two weeks I've given the XK120 Jaguar a really good shakedown, last week in our Small Sports class and tonight in Slot Rally and I love it already and will build a silver one the same way so that I can enjoy driving it whilst this green one is away 'on tour'.
...the blue one was in our last Rally proxy, the red one is bog standard apart from rear tyres and ballast (it's prepared for our 'Back 2 Basics' class)
