Touring Cars Slotting - Official Results & Reports
#41

A good point Raised by Red Dragon Racing

I have introduced this rule in the Host Briefing sheet.

Drivers of the cars
A driver must be allocated to run all the cars within each Event, a different driver can be used for each of the 4 Events. The driver should where possible not be one of the entries in that Event. If running more than one lane as a 2nd run the driver of the 2nd lane must be different from the first lane.

If that means you can't race your own car it has to be across the board for everyone, even those running a solo event or it favours some but not others.

That's exactly as I described how I intend running.

I thought my explanation was fair and didn't favour anyone.

So we will have a chat about who's doing the driving on Thurs night (our race nights).

As a long term builder and participant of proxies, please do not drive either of the #33 Brumos RSR cars after the event is completed.  My BMW has a special set of tires that will allow it to pass on the outside.  The hope is that the tires will hold up for the allotted races, qualifying and “get to know you” laps.  Any additional wear and or break in may alter results of a future race.  I trust all hosts and Graham will be ok with parking the #33 cars after each event unless there is a problem and a repair needs to be made.

I think that goes for all entrants doesn't it?

I'd rather not have any damage occur to my cars outside of the actual event.

I love puttering with gears

I agree,  but I cannot speak for every builder.

I totally agree with Brumos RSR & BARacer comments.

The cars have been agreed to be run only within the Proxy Series Rounds as prescribed on the schedule.

IT IS NOT PERMITTED RUNNING ANY OF THE CARS OUTSIDE THE DESIGNATED PROXY FORMAT

These cars have been carefully prepared for a set number of Rounds, running them otherwise risks unnecessary damage or wear.
Once run these cars are effectively in "Parc Ferme"

A majority of the Entrants do not get the opportunity to run these cars, so it is not valid to arrange any kind of special run for Clubmates pleasure.

The same applies to any of the MANX Club Entrants Cars, once they are in the Proxy, they cannot be modified or used outside the Series.
If they do so they will be disqualified.

Points taken - the cars will ONLY be driven in the proxy during their allotted official runs and ONLY by the two designated drivers.

Sorry for causing any trouble, how could I have been so stupid.

Finally I have added the Round Record sheets and the Planned schedule onto the leading Page1 of this thread.

So you can now see who you are directly racing against in each Event.

In terms of Car Class position you are racing against every car in the same car class type.

It just remains for the "mystic" Jason to activate the results database on the leading page and we should be up and running.
