Wavegreen Good Morning.

I am having another bad SCOREBOARD day, this time I think I pressed the wrong button  Tappingfoot

My Laptop decided to upgrade overnight and I am no longer getting the toolbar I used to rely on, so I tried loading the data on my Ipad, which looks like a bad mistake.

I think the scoreboard is okay now, it was no big deal.

I haven't been through it in detail, but at first glance it looks fine.

Things are closing in nicely at the top making for an interesting and tense run-in through the last few rounds.

Well had an very strange Computer day, in which after an upgrade the toolbar completely disappeared for the entire morning, then the computer totally refused to restart going into a kind of endless loop for something like 3 hours. And then just as strangely eventually when I was just about to arrange to take it down the road to the local PC repair man, Its suddenly come back into life with the restored Toolbar back in place again.

So I will write the Round 6 Review tomorrow, as I just about had enough for one day on this machine  Rofl

Wavegreen Good Morning

So whilst my PC is behaving itself I will write the Round review

So for the updated Overall Points for Rounds 1-6

Pitlane Review Rounds 1-6
Many thanks to Savage GT for running the 6th Round, luckily the spiders seemed to have scarpered before the cars were run, so no wildlife was harmed during the race  Rofl

As been said this home wood track is more technical then the Conington Park circuit with some very sharp hairpin bends, so although the higher fixed voltage might have helped some of the cars, most probably the sharp bends did not. And so we did get some different results even though effectively the drivers were the same for both Rounds.

Tourist (Event 1)
1st Place - Savage GT - Mustang (115pts)
2nd Place - Brumos RSR - Porsche 911 ( 87pts)
3rd Place - RoadRunners - Galaxie ( 74pts)
As we probably expect now these 3 cars have formed a natural running order, and apart from some unforeseeable circumstance, they should maintain their placings.

Grand (Event 2)
1st Place - Bangers Racing - BMW 3.0CSL (110pts)
2nd Place - Deadheads - Rover SD1 (66pts)
3rd Place - Makem Movers - Camaro (54pts)
The Rover SD1 of Deadheads making good progress to challenge the BMW of Bangers Racing, whether there is sufficient opportunity in the last 4 Rounds to will depend on luck as much as anything else. But it is still possible as their are a few unpredictable rounds to come. The Camaros of Makem Movers  has stepped ahead of the BMW of Brumos RSR which had seemed perhaps more at home on the plastic tracks.

Super (Event 3)
1st Place - Savage GT - Calibra (87pts)
2nd Place - WVSAM- Nissan Skyline (78pts)
3rd Place - Mountain View - BMW M3 (51pts)
We seem to have a battle on our hands between the Calibra of Savage GT and the Nissan Calibra of WVSAM. This could be a very close fight between the two cars.
And with the home advantage in Mountain Views hands for the next Round, the BMW could get into the mix. But Team Tatters Calibra is also very close behind.

Modern (Event 4)
1st Place - Deadheads - Audi A5 (106pts)
2nd Place - Mountain View - Astra (64 pts)
3rd Place - Bangers Racing (63pts)
Deadheads Audi A5 looking to have the advantage in this Event, whilst there is a great scrap going on for 2nd and 3rd  placings between the Astra Of Mountain View, the Alfa of Bangers Racing and my stricken Honda Civic of RoadRunners.

Class A Constructed Cars
1st Place - Mountain View - Astra (105pts)
2nd Place - ManxEd- Calibra (87pts)
3rd Place - Team Tatters - Honda Civic (69pts)
With home track advantage, the Astra is bound to extend its lead in the next round.

Class B Constructed Cars
1st Place - Bangers Racing - BMW 3.0CSL (82pts)
2nd Place - Deadheads - Audi A5 (81pts)
3rd Place - Mountain View - BMW M3 (60pts)
Very close now with only one point difference between the BMW of Bangers Racing and the Audi A5 of Deadheads for this top spot. Could go either way.

Class C Constructed Cars
1st Place - Savage GT - Calibra (88pts)
2nd Place - WVSAM - Nissan Skyline (81pts)
3rd Place - Team Tatters - Calibra (53pts)
Looks like a straight fight between the Calibra of Savage GT and the Nissan Skyline of WVSAM for the construction C award.

Best Team
1st Place - Savage GT (350pts)
2nd Place - Deadheads (296pts)
3rd Place - Mountain View & Bangers Racing (280pts)
Although Team Savage GT is still holding the top spot, it is looking very close at the top for this stage of the series.

According to my on board navigator the box of cars should be appearing soon at Mountain View for Round 7 which will take place over the weekend.
