Next through the stage were the twelve Class A Scalextric cars...

The times were...

1. Clive Mills - Subaru Impeza #5 - 97.39 seconds
2. Graham Edwards - Subaru Impreza #10 - 104.4 seconds
3. Andy Player - Renault Mégane Maxi #24 - 110.4 seconds*
4. David Passell - Escort Cosworth #15 - 110.5 seconds
5. Noah Passell - Subaru Impreza #5 - 111.7 seconds
6. Dylan Passell - Toyota Corolla #5 - 112.1 seconds
7. Rebecca Shtasel - Ford Focus #6 - 113.0 seconds
8. Simon Kendall - Subaru Impreza #8 - 116.9 seconds
9. Jeremy Belcher - Peugeot 207 #16 - 119.2 seconds
10. Doug Passel - Subaru Impreza #29 - 124.7 seconds
11. Mike Scott - Skoda Fabia #14 - 127.3 seconds
12. Paul Cooper - Skoda Fabia #12 - 131.2 seconds

*As host, Andy gets the median stage time for the overall standings = 112.6 seconds

Clive's Impreza was sensational. That time might worry quite a few of the Class C cars... which will be next in fading light...

Glad this isn’t a one stage wonder, the Skoda was not the weapon of choice for this stage!

We'll come into our own later. The others will be too busy laughing to concentrate  Rofl

Mike - both Skodas really struggled on the rough surface... it was painful! They were quick on the black stuff though - and there's loads more of that coming up Thumbup

The first 12 Class C cars have made it through the stage in the gloom. These are the times so far...

Alan Wilkinson - Renault Mégane - 85.26 seconds
Alan Birchmore - Citroën C4 - 88.03 seconds
Graham Edwards - Renualt Clio - 88.51 seconds
Phil Barry - Porsche 914 - 90.23 seconds
Kevin Veitch - Nissan 350Z - 94.31 seconds
Leo Capaldi - Lancia Delta S4 - 94.39 seconds
Duncan Skelt - Ford RS200 - 108.5 seconds
Clive Mills - Alpine A110 - 110.7 seconds
Ade Child - Ford RS200 - 115.3 seconds
Paul Cooper - Lancia Delta Integrale - 115.4 seconds
Gill Child - Ford Escort Cosworth - 124.6 seconds
Simon Coombes - BMW M1 - 131.1 seconds

Still 13 more Class C cars to go after a tea break. The cars at the top of the list were beautiful to drive. Some towards the bottom (the Herne Bay duo in particular) are going to be very rapid on the tarmac stages, but just hated the off-road track.

I can live with being a tarmac specialist, that’s how a certain Mr Loeb started out!  Rofl

Until the driver gets fed up with the noise the cars make going over the bumps.
