So it was another great Round from Viking Slot Car Club, and with it some interesting results.

Global GT Challenge Review Round 2
General 
As an overall impression it seems that on this longer track there was slightly greater separation between the 3 Construction Classes, the variance of the classes was very similar as before.

Mountain view had a much better run on this track, and not far behind. Bangers Racing/ Marcos......well struggling !

Green Star / BMW V12 making up a little ground on the home track.

3rd - Makem / Mclaren GTR (8pts)

Having taken the initial lead, Makem Mclaren seems to taken a step back on this track, with Oxo Cube's Merc catching some early headwind.

1st - Brumos RSR / Dodge Viper (24pts)
2nd - Paint Horse One / Dodge Viper (18pts)
3rd - Oxo Cube / Toyota Supra (13pts)

Brumos has started well but Paint Horse One  Viper in close pursuit.

GP3 Leading Cars
1st - Brumos RSR /Ferrari 333SP  (20pts)
2nd - RoadRunners / Toyota GT-ONE (17pts)
3rd - Team ALS  /  Toyota GT-ONE (14pts)

A consistent result from Brumos Ferrari enabling it to take 1st Place

Procars 
GT1 Leading Cars
1st - Bangers Racing /BMW Z4  (36pts)
2nd - Demon Tweeks / Lamborghini Mucielago (33pts)
3rd - Sam D / Corvette C6R (31pts)

Bangers Racing BMW Z4 nips ahead of Demon Tweeks Lambo. Sam D Corvette in hot pursuit, should do well at the home track next week.

GT2 Leading Cars
1st - ModSports / Corvette C5R & Bangers Racing / Ferrari F355 (23pts)
3rd - BAracer / Marcos (18pts)

Already we are seeing the start of a battle here between the top 2 cars.

GP3 Leading Cars
1st  -Demon Tweeks / Porsche Kremer (39pts)
2nd - BAracer / Audi R8 (31pts)
3rd - BatManx / Jaguar XJR9 (30pts)

Although Demon Tweeks Porsche dropped a point at the Viking Club track to Green Stars Porsche 956, this car is looking very strong at the moment.

Summary,
I think the cars with different tyres from the norm seemed to prosper at the Viking Club, so should do well again next weeks Round 3 at the Wye Valley Club, and this track is very long so perhaps may increase the advantage shown on the round.

ANNOUNCEMENT
I am sorry to announce that DHL have failed to deliver our box of cars for this weeks Round as it appears they were sent to the wrong depot 

So the Round at Wye Valley is postponed until a later date, and assuming we get the cars delivered on Monday, they will be forwarded to the next host at Trelawney.

The box of cars will be dispatched tomorrow to the Trelawny Club and hopefully will arrive by the end of the week for the next Round on Saturday.
