Based in Chelmsford Essex, but fully portable is the MrD Slot Drag racing track. Constructed from 20mm Polycarbonate roof sheeting.  The track consists of 11 2 metre long pieces that are 400mm wide. This makes it a 1/24th scale 1000ft drag strip (or 1/32 quarter mile).  The powered length is 12.5 metres with 10 metres of shutdown. Each lane is powered by a Mercury 13.8 volt 40 amp bench top power supply.  The track has the Trackmate timing system with working christmas tree start lights and Koford drag race controllers. A Group 20 motor'd car ran .6 of a second at 63mph.
