Looks great so far.
Back in 1971. I remember learning to use the yellow fences on my Strombecker set to hold the car on the track while I hit full throttle. You could corner as if the car had magnets, and easily overtake the inside lane every time.
The hard part was trying not to make it obvious. Always allow your opponent to think they have a chance to win.
